Our aim is to provide the latest information on the EU Objective 1 programme on Anglesey and the activities of the Anglesey Economic Regeneration Partnership (AERP).
The AERP formed in 1998 is the principal economic regeneration partnership on the island, and is one of the island’s strategic partnerships. It has an island wide remit and has a formal role within the EU Objective 1 implementation process.
During 2002, the AERP widened its role to provide strategic direction to the island’s economic regeneration activities. In 2004, the AERP adopted a new long-term strategy that will provide the basis for an integrated approach to economic regeneration across the island up to 2015.
The AERP’s vision is to “Create a prosperous future for Anglesey through sustainable economic regeneration.”
